The S1 class Sopolian Tracked Cargo Carrier is a combatant groundcraft.
- It is a military vehicle, a tracked AFV.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
S1 class Sopolian Tracked Cargo Carrier, TL-6: The vehicle is the basis for a family of military vehicles on the planet Sopol (world). They are sealed with a fire suppression system and air conditioning in addition to having over pressure versus chemical / bacteriological / and nuclear threats. It carries cargo and they are armed with an unstabilized, HMG and a TAC missile in the turret. The vehicle's 8.4m³ tracked suspension combined with a low ground pressure ensures that it will never get stuck off road.
Basic Vehicle Characteristics[edit]
Following the Imperial Army and IISS Universal Vehicle Profile and data, additional information is presented in the format shown here. The small craft factor indicates the number of squadrons (of ten craft) carried on the vehicle when applicable. Tonnage on the universal vehicle profile is shown in kilotons (thousands of tons) where necessary.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Designed and manufactured at TL–6, these vehicles were commissioned and license built for the certain military clients on Sopol (world), in the Abidal Subsector of the Halcyon Sector in the Distant Fringe. The vehicle's three man crew have their hands full to say the least. Some of these vehicles have found their way into other military inventories. Some have been captured in battle and some have been sold on the open market. They are not specifically designed for desert combat, the Paratha Combat Brigade has had trouble with their lack of intake compression. The Parathan Forces are fond of their heavier bullet-proof armor. Some serve as logistics vehicles and some are ammunition carriers in the Sopolian Regimental Combat Teams.
