History & Background / Dossier

The ports along the Runners Edge are very poor quality and vessels working the Gas Trade and Recovery Trade are common along its length.

A disproportionately large number of the vessels travelling into Unity space never return: it is likely that they have been seized and the crews incarcerated for some infraction of local laws. However, the trade in agricultural produce and raw materials into Sedulan and the flow of advanced goods from its commercial centers is profitable enough to ensure that commerce continues, despite the risks.
