Roup, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight and the fiefdom of a count. Both are members of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world. This world contains an Imperial Scout Base, capable of handling Scout Service starships and personnel.

Description (Astrography & Planetology)
Roup is a water world situated on the express boat route from Regina (Spinward Marches 1910) to Efate (Spinward Marches 1705). Its population of 3.4 billion is concentrated on the peaks of a few underwater mountains, the only dry land on the world.

In addition to Roup Startown, other major settlements on Roup include Renoir, Lurka, Rudun, Ishakema, Lameburg, and Shikii City.
The Tukera family maintains a villa on the island of Lurka as well as dockside and cargo rights for regular route cargo and liner visits to Roup.
Real food (as opposed to the local concentrates made from fish) is highly prized by the population. Roup’s citizens practice aquaculture on a planetary scale, with whole oceans sectioned off using bubblenets to maximize productivity.
