The primary is Palidor, an ordinary yellow main sequence [[star]]. It has a luminosity of 0.886 Sols, a mass of 0.98 Sols, and a diameter of 1.391 million km. The inner system consists of (II-I) a [[trace atmosphere]] [[worldlet]], and (II-II) an [[exotic atmosphere]] [[stormworld]] – orbital position (I) is empty. (III) Rosamin orbits within the [[habitable zone]] and is designated the [[mainworld]]. (IV) a [[very thin atmosphere]] [[hospitable world]], (V) a [[small gas giant]], (VI) a sparse stony [[planetoid belt]], (VII-I) a [[large gas giant]], (VII-II) a [[ring]]ed [[large gas giant]], and (VIII) a small [[ice giant]] form the outer system. It has an orbital period of 279 days 0 hours and a rotation period of 21 hours. The axial tilt is 22 degrees. Rosamin has a diameter of 12,775 km, a density of 5.62 g/cm³, and a surface gravity of 1.02 G. The world is geologically active. Its atmosphere is rated as [[Dense atmosphere|Dense]], with a mean surface pressure of 1.62 bar and a composition of 80% nitrogen (N<sub><small>2</small></sub>), 19% oxygen (O<sub><small>2</small></sub>), and 1% argon (Ar), water vapor (H<sub><small>2</small></sub>O), carbon dioxide (CO<sub><small>2</small></sub>), ozone (O<sub><small>3</small></sub>), neon (Ne) and other trace gases. Approximately 73% of the surface is covered in oceans of liquid water: average tidal ranges exceed 0.3m. Mean surface temperature: 19°C. Flora is abundant: foliage is generally long and conical and is primarily green in color. Their metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal. Fauna follows a wide variety of body patterns but the prevalent form is Bilateral HS-TB-LN-LL-N, with cartilage interiors, ichor fluids and leathery exteriors. Most native organisms have a bland flavor and a gritty texture and can be digested by humans after basic processing (cooking).
* Cherish, Rosamin's temperate marginally [[hospitable world|hospitable]] [[satellite|moon]] has primitive native life, consisting almost entirely of microscopic cyanobacteria-parallels that exist in most ecological niches. Their metabolic functions maintain the process of atmospheric renewal.

The nations are economic rivals and seek to outdo one another in terms of standards of living, quality of infrastructure and architectural beauty, but cooperate closely on matters such as defense and the ecology.
