The Rita class Fleet Tender are the jump capable mother-ships that the battle riders, system defense boats and fighters rely on to get to and from the battle zone. Off world industrial labor is used to manufacture and forge the structural sub-assemblies. These are transported to the naval shipyard and carefully assembled in orbit by small numbers of highly trained naval construction crews under the careful supervision of the naval architects. These are the only people in the cluster that understand the advanced jump technology these ships possess.
