The Rissa Gateway is a name given to a broad astrographic region covering the spinward-coreward parts of Far Home Sector and the spinward-trailing parts of Halcyon Sector.
Description / Specifications
The name is also applied to the Rissa system due to its position on the border between the two sectors.

History & Background / Dossier
Rissa has a number of large orbital port facilities, it sees high amounts of interstellar traffic, and it is a key link in the Scybrian Run Star Lane. It was the site of several large space battles during both the civil wars and the Scybrian Wars. The Rissa Gateway has a reputation as a nest of espionage and intrigue.
