The Reynolds Meyers Briggs class Heavy Merchant is a TL–12 merchant vessel.

Description

It is a vessel with 1-G and J-1 performance with a partially streamlined Close Structure Hull. It is capable of gas giant refueling. In practice this is seldom attempted with passengers embarked. Designed and built in the Ras Tennol (world) system, the Reynolds Meyers Briggs Class Heavy Merchant is a heavy merchant vessel built under license to local companies. It ordinarily carries four subcraft. It has a crew of 53. It can carry fifty high passengers and fifty middle passengers, as well as forty low berths. The massive four thousand ton cargo bay is the true money maker.

Basic Ship Characteristics

Following the Imperial Navy and IISS Universal Ship Profile and data, additional information is presented in the format shown here. The small craft factor indicates the number of squadrons (...of ten subcraft) carried on the ship. Tonnage on the universal ship profile is shown in kilotons (...thousands of tons) where necessary.
