Renat is a barren garden world with no overt population, government, or law level.

  • It is a garden world with a near-ideal, utopian environment conducive to most sophonts.
  • This world is valuable property, as a garden world, and will likely soon be populated...
  • It is an unclaimed Non-Aligned world located in the Murada Subsector of Halcyon Sector.

System Data

Chleb-Renat System

The primary is Chleb, an ordinary yellow-white main sequence star. It has a luminosity of 1.668 Sols, a mass of 1.092 Sols, and a diameter of 1.536 million km. The inner system consists of (I) a vacuum inner world, (II) an exotic atmosphere radworld, and (III) a dense atmosphere stormworld. (IV) Renat orbits within the habitable zone and is designated the mainworld. (V) an exotic atmosphere bigworld, (VI) a very large gas giant, (VII) a trace atmosphere iceworld, (VIII) a trace atmosphere radworld, (IX) an exotic atmosphere bigworld, (X) a vacuum worldlet form the outer system. Many of the worlds retain satellites.

Mainworld Data

(IV) Renat

(IV) Renat is designated the mainworld. It orbits Chleb at a mean distance of 0.97 AU (145.1 million km), within the habitable zone. It has an orbital period of 333 days 22 hours and a rotation period of 31.5 hours. The axial tilt is 31 degrees. Renat has a diameter of 9,697 km, a density of 5.18 g/cm³, and a surface gravity of 0.71 G. The world is geologically active. Its atmosphere is rated as Dense, with a mean surface pressure of 2.06 bar and a composition of 79% nitrogen (N2), 20% oxygen (O2), and 1% argon (Ar), water vapor (H2O), carbon dioxide (CO2), neon (Ne) and other trace gases. Approximately 68% of the surface is covered in seas of liquid water: average tidal ranges exceed 0.25m. Mean surface temperature: 22°C. The atmosphere is dynamic and strong weather systems driven by the star and the oceans work across the globe. The climate is seasonal.

Mainworld Geography and Topography

Total surface area: 295 million km², Land surface area: 201 million km², Water surface area: 94 million km².

Native lifeforms

The hot stormworld lying in orbital position (III) (within the H– region of the inner system) has primitive native life, consisting entirely of microscopic cyanobacteria-parallels that exist in any location where they can find even a minimal trace of shelter and moisture. Their metabolic functions maintain the process of atmospheric renewal.

Renat, the mainworld, lying within the habitable zone, has extensive native life, consisting of microscopic organisms, stromatolite-parallels and primitive flora that can be found in almost every ecological niche. Their metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.

History & Background (Dossier)

No information yet available.

World starport

Renat has a Class E Starport, a frontier quality installation with few expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of a downport.

World technology level

Renat possesses a Technology Level of TL–0.

  • These worlds often contain a Proto-Sophont species beginning to establish a nascent civilization and society.
  • This world is in its Alpha Period and has not yet been interfered with by a higher technology civilization.
  • Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Bodily communicative apparati, courier-runners, and smoke signals.
  • Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Bodily muscle.
  • Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
    • Land: Bodily locomotion, riding beasts, and litters or sedan chairs.
    • Water: Swimming, rafts, and canoes.
    • Air: Typically not available unless a bodily ability.

World government

Renat has no central government for the world, an Anarchy. The largest governmental structure would be a family, tribe, or single clan. The largest group will be between 50 and 100 individuals, and there may be dozens to hundreds of them. This governmental structure can be stable over long periods of time if the population remains small or geographically separated.
