History & Background (Dossier)
Quopist is a poor, non-industrial Imperial world located in the Lanth Subsector of the Spinward Marches. In addition to Quopist Startown, other major settlements on Quopist include Kuru Iga and Aru Dehu.
Quopist’s main export is valden, a waxy, naturally occurring substance thought to be a byproduct of the life cycle of the world’s main plant, a cactus-like succulent. Valden is used as a catalyst in several chemical processes.
