Player Character

A Player Character or PC is the focus of the RPG game. It is the character that the player controls throughout the adventure or story.

• The Referee directs the game and helps to moderate interaction with NPCs.

PCs can be extremely short lived in Traveller, with the possibility of being lost during CharGen.

• There are a vast variety of vocations, alien races, and other roles that a PC may assume.
• PC's are described with the Universal Personality Profile (UPP) or Universal Character Profile (UCP).

History & Background (Dossier)

The concept of the PC is now so ubiquitous through RPG gaming that few books bother to explain the concept anymore.
