A Personal Droid is a simulated being, designed for sexual play.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

Personal droids (also known as sexbots or pleasure droids) are made to be as lifelike as possible. They run from an inbuilt CPU, which links wirelessly to a computer and can carry out and hold up to 5 different commands at one time. Sexbots can learn to perform up to 1,200 complex commands, including a large number of sexual acts.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

Personal droids are made to closely resemble a real being; the level of verisimilitude depending on the price which is paid for the unit. As an example, human-model personal droids have realistic, functional genitals, hands, faces and mouths. More expensive models have very lifelike features, skin which is indistinguishable from human skin and the movements of a human being. Cheaper models cannot walk, and need to be carried to a bed or chair for use, while more expensive models can walk in a realistic fashion and connect to the AI program in a home computer, allowing them to talk, play and interact in an intelligent fashion. They come complete with a storage hutch and recharger, and control software. More expensive personal droids can also speak to their user, serve food and drinks, attend to users’ personal and domestic needs and tell jokes and stories.

Personal droids weigh around 70kg and cost between CR80,000 and CR800,000, although they are often hired out.
