The Pel Avena Cluster is a group of stars that forms part of the Demon Cluster.
Details / Specifications
The Pel Avena Cluster contains 9 systems and lies primarily within Demon's Eye Subsector, within Far Home Sector: one of its constituent systems lies within Orret Subsector. It is named for the orange giant primary star of the Pel Avena system (1528 Far Home) and is accessible by conventional jump-1 vessels.

- Merant, a pleasant though backward high population garden world.
- Dal Hallen, a rich agricultural world. It is the Capital of the Rimward Federation and the location of a major military base. It is the Homeworld of the Quemm.
- Pel Avena, an ice-capped vacuum world with a low population. It is the site of a military base.
- Nassin, an exotic atmosphere world with fluid oceans and a low population.
- Zuramid, an underdeveloped water world.
- Lias, an advancing high population industrialised world.
- Peset, an icy asteroid belt lying on a Star Lane. It is the site of a military base.
History / Background
The Pel Avena Cluster is the location of the Rimward Federation.
The Cluster formed the territory of the semi-autonomous Pel Avena Directorate, a part of Rimward Opportunities, during the Golden Age.
