Paratha Combat Brigade
This army, the Paratha Combat Brigade, serves the polity of the Worlds of The Leader.
Description (Specifications)[edit]
Mechanized forces built to utilize locally manufactured military vehicles.
Goals (Mission)[edit]
These units are used to garrison lower technology planets within the leader's benevolent sphere of influence. Security and cadre functions are available to allied native forces.
Strategy & Doctrine (Operations)[edit]
Air and armor assets thrive on rapid tempo maneuver warfare. Decisive, aggressive lines of march to contact and flanking envelopment are considered ideal for these units. They are not intended to cope with modern grav mobile forces with any expectation of victory.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Serving the Worlds of The Leader, Paratha (world) D342788-6 is a scorched, dry world with light gravity and a thin tainted atmosphere. However, specially modified TL–6 helicopters can operate here, with care. Some of these battalions are being used to with the occupational forces, to garrison the "colony" of Zendar (world).
Tables of Organization (Organizational Structure)[edit]
The three Combat Brigades are adapted for desert combat. They share 21 battalions. The TOE below is a typical mechanized infantry battalion. Vehicles have intake compressors and filters to deal with the thin tainted air. Troops here wear loose, camouflage desert cloaks over their uniforms and their helmets have polarized sand goggles and filter masks integrated.

NCOs and vehicle crew have SMGs. The rest carry rifles, medics don't carry weapons. Combat blades are ubiquitous. On occation the company XO will take command of the command track, and take charge of the support elements. This frees up the CO, who will then personally lead the company from one of the platoons, historically 1st platoon, but not always.
