Paramilitary Ships are a step in-between civilian and military starships. They patrol the system as police, inspectors, and in a variety institutional roles. They may carry armament, but usually much less than a comparable military platform.

  • Paramilitary ships typically mount "standard" grade sensors.

Description (Specifications)

This page primarily covers Imperial ships and those ships that frequent the Imperial Fringe. Paramilitary ships are typically industrial and system defense ships although the class generally includes many kinds of communications ships as well. The vast majority of paramilitary ships are used by smaller interstellar polities (Pocket Empires) and World-States. They are most often intended for star system economic development and self defense.
