Description

Pandemonium, subsector G of Vanguard Reaches contains 29 worlds with an estimated population of 7 billion, a per capita income of Cr3,802, and a total economy is BCr29,020. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr85 through 27 starports (8 Class A, 11 Class B, 7 Class C, 1 Class D) employing 48,630 people. Driving this interstellar trade are four Agricultural (Ag) worlds, two Non-Agricultural (Na) worlds, three Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, two Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, five Rich (Ri) worlds, and one Industrial (In) world. The governments in Pandemonium maintain six Scout bases, six Naval bases, and two Military bases. The average technology level is 9 (with most between 7 and 11). The highest technology level is 13 at Nordland (Vanguard Reaches 1814), Berlichingen (Vanguard Reaches 1912), Nederland (Vanguard Reaches 2012), and Grossdeutchland (Vanguard Reaches 2119).

Pandemonium, subsector G of Vanguard Reaches contains 43 stars and 360 identified planets; 16 monostellar systems, 12 binary systems, one trinary system, and no systems with four or more stars. 26 of the 29 systems (89%) have native gas giants. There are no Asteroid (As) belts, one Desert (De) world, three Garden (Ga) worlds, one Ice-capped (Ic) world, three Poor (Po) worlds, five Vacuum (Va) worlds, and two Water (Wa) or Ocean (Oc) worlds.

Pandemonium has an estimated population of 7 billion distributed across one High population (Hi) world, two Moderate population (Ph) worlds, 12 Non-industrial (Ni) worlds, nine Low population (Lo) worlds, and no Barren (Ba) worlds. The highest population world is Langemarck (Vanguard Reaches 2014). The population consists of 1 sophont groups.

1 identified sophont populations in Pandemonium

Langemarck Coalition

The Langemarck Coalition has jurisdiction over 15 worlds with an estimated population of 6 billion, a per capita income of Cr4,098, and a total economy is BCr24,715. These worlds originate an interstellar trade of BCr61 through 14 starports (5 Class A, 7 Class B, 2 Class C, 0 Class D) employing 34,590 people. Driving this interstellar trade are two Agricultural (Ag) worlds, one Non-Agricultural (Na) world, two Pre-Agricultural (Pa) worlds, no Pre-Industrial (Pi) worlds, three Rich (Ri) worlds, and one Industrial (In) world. The governments in Langemarck Coalition maintain four Naval bases, two Scout bases, and one Military base. The average technology level is 10 (with most between 7 and 12). History & Background (Dossier)

The Pandemonium Subsector is the site of several local interstellar unions and wars. Many of the worlds of this subsector were settled by Solomani Generation Ships in the era 650 to 750. This subsector has no officially recognized capital. As of 1106 there were three provincial unions established, with Langemarck/Pandemonium recognized by the Zhodani Consulate and the Imperium as the provisional subsector capital. The current situation is the result of the 1105 "War of Unification" conducted by the Langemarck Coalition, and the alliances and allegiances listed here conform to the Treaty of Lutzow signed by all four Provincial unions on 142-1105.
