Osha has a population between 10,000 and 10 million sophonts, lacking the industrial base to be completely self-supporting. This is a high technology world with available technology over the standards for Charted Space. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Shallows Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Osha, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight, a member of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world. This world has a nearby Imperial Naval Base, capable of handling warships. During the Long Night this world was named Kuus.
Astrography and planetology
Osha is a member of the Dagudashaag Main. It is on the main supply route to Dakushan (Dagudashaag 0518) and currently has a contract to build a fleet of multi-ton tanker ships to carry hydrogen to Dakushan and bring back the exports, thorium and platinum, of that world.

History and background
The whole population of Osha are either starport employees or naval base personnel.
The navy base was established to help keep an eye on the Ziadd to rimward and Ushra (Dagudashaag 1016) to trailing, as were the other bases around this subsector.
