Old Colonies was first settled by several small Aslan clans in the 930s. It was a profitable industrial region, and continues to be so to this day, as evidenced by its five industrial worlds. The region was overrun by the Aokhalte and their allies, and is their main holding in the Post-Collapse Hierate. Standing in the way of their dominance is the Seieakh bloc in neighboring Iphigenaia .
