History & Background (Dossier)
Part of the J-5 Trans-Rift Hierate Route.
As the first link on the J-5 Route, Oisyasais is vitally important; it is also famous as the jumping-off point for early Rift crossings. As such, this otherwise unremarkable world is a desired possession for all clans in the Hierate. The watery mainworld is divided between several successful clans, each with its own downport. The rest of the system is home to numerous outposts and settlements.
World Starport
Oisyasais has a Class A Starport, an excellent quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and other kinds of repair, and construction of both starships and non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
