Ognar is a barren garden world with no overt population, government, or law level.

  • It is a garden world with a near-ideal, utopian environment conducive to most sophonts.
  • This world is valuable property, as a garden world, and will likely soon be populated...
  • This die back world was once settled and developed, but the inhabitants have either died off or left leaving behind the ruins and remnants of their civilization.
  • This was the homeworld and presumably the capital of the Ognar Worlds.

World Infrastructure

Almost ten thousand years after the Ognar Worlds self-destructed, most of what remains is crumbling roads. If there were railroads, they have been torn up beyond recognition. There are occasional mines and offshore platforms near concentrations of mineral wealth (or what probably once were concentrations, completely played out before the destruction). A few sunken ships have been located - in every case, serving as anchors for coral-analogue reefs.

By long standing agreement of the modern polities of Datsatl Sector, no archaeological expedition is allowed to establish permanent infrastructure in this system, even in orbit. Expeditions come in self-contained ships, and leave the same way, collecting all probes and other machinery (even if accidentally destroyed during use) before leaving.
