History & Background
Nisor Subsector saw very limited activity by humans prior to the establishment of the Third Confederation, and what little development there was abruptly ended with the onset of the Dark Age, nearly two thousand years ago. Almost all expansion and growth within the region is relatively modern, occuring following the end of the Dark Age and the rise of Development Organizations.
- A strong social divide exists between wealthy and aristocratic Fives, descended from the original settlers and crew of the Last Armada, and Gens, individuals whose ancestors were grown in GenPods and raised by Hoppers. Within its coreward regions, those of Fives ancestry are uniformly despised. They are regarded as parasites and leeches at best and may suffer persecution and abuse.
