1101-1116: Fleet Admiral 213th Fleet[1]
The appointment to the 213th Fleet was as a result of the influence of the Jesten family which was closely allied to House Muudashir. To have kept the appointment during the post-war reshuffle (in 1111), showed his political acumen in ingratiating himself to the Duke of Regina.
Of all the Fleet Admirals in the Spinward Marches Fleet at the start of the Fifth Frontier War, Adm. Liang was by far the most senior and most politically powerful.
