The Nightsleek is a safari game animal native to a world in Knoellighz Sector.

  • It has been exported elsewhere, including several interstellar zoos.

Physiology & Ecology[edit]

The Nighsleek is a nocturnal pouncer-predator. This panther-like feline features a quilled, black pelt so dark in color, the creature is nigh-invisible to even low-light technology. Small prides stalk in the shadow hours, (the mainworld (Knorrvok_(world) has little true night due to its system’s White Dwarf captured in an outer orbit).

Life Cycle & Reproduction[edit]

Diet & Trophics[edit]

Unfortunately, the nightsleek finds Vargr flesh nutritious.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

Initial scout surveys had failed due to the Nightsleek. The creature was discovered after a few attacks on scouts via the use of infra-red enhancement sensors that betrayed the animal’s stealth.

Its pelt is becoming a fashion accessory worn with pride after surviving an attack.

The planet at 1105 is rapidly becoming a hunting reserve attraction to safari vessels to the chagrin of local ecologists and environmentalists.
