Natoko, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estates of an Imperial knight and a baronet, and the fiefdom of a count. All three are members of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world.

Natoko is ruled by a dictator and its society is highly militarized, with most public officials holding military rank. The Natoko government is currently forbidden by Imperial Edict from owning military starships, on account of a number of incidents last century.
