History & Background (Dossier)

Moughas was settled in 1085 by refugees from Feri, fleeing the continuous wars that raged between the hundreds of states. The group consisted of pacifists, intellectuals, persecuted ethnic and religious minorities and others tired of constant strife and disorder – all seeking a way off the planet. Coming together, the leaders approached the Imperial Ministry of Colonization seeking an Imperial Warrant to settle Moughas, which was duly approved. Selling up, the group moved off world over five years. The granting of the warrant of settlement to the dissidents greatly angered the various nations and laid the seeds for another world war between the pro- and anti-Imperial states.

Moughas, as a member world of the Third Imperium has a member of the Imperial Nobility overseeing the world.

World Starport

Moughas has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which includes amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
