System Data
Soldier-Morrow System
The primary is Soldier, an ordinary orange main sequence star. It has a luminosity of 0.42 Sols, a mass of 0.825 Sols, and a diameter of 1.263 million km. The inner system consists of (I-I) a vacuum inner world, (I-II) an exotic atmosphere radworld, and (II) a corrosive atmosphere inferno world. (III) Morrow orbits within the habitable zone and is designated the mainworld. (IV) a very thin atmosphere hospitable world, (V-I) a sparse stony planetoid belt, (V-II) a ringed large gas giant, (VI) a small gas giant, (VII-I) a large gas giant, (VII-II) a sparse icy planetoid belt, and (VIII) a ringed large gas giant form the outer system. Many of the worlds retain satellites.
(III) Morrow is designated the mainworld. It orbits Soldier at a mean distance of 0.62 AU (92.8 million km), within the habitable zone. It has an orbital period of 196 days 8 hours and a rotation period of 23 hours. The axial tilt is 33 degrees. Morrow has a diameter of 9,568 km, a density of 6.88 g/cm³, and a surface gravity of 0.93 G. The world is geologically active. Its atmosphere is rated as Standard, with a mean surface pressure of 0.97 bar and a composition of 77% nitrogen (N2), 21% oxygen (O2), 1% argon (Ar), and 1% water vapor (H2O), carbon dioxide (CO2), ozone (O3), neon (Ne) and other trace gases. Approximately 73% of the surface is covered in oceans of liquid water: average tidal ranges exceed 0.3m. Mean surface temperature: 33°C. The climate is rated as Hot and experiences major seasonal changes during the local year. The atmosphere is active and strong weather systems driven by the star and the oceans surge across the globe.
Satellites
Morrow retains two natural satellites, a vacuum worldlet named Panath and a exotic atmosphere worldlet named Rumu:
- (IIIa) Panath (UWP G100365-8, orbiting at 35 Diameters/335,000 km)
- (IIIb) Rumu (UWP Y3A0000-0, orbiting at 45 Diameters/430,000 km)
Mainworld Geography and Topography
Total surface area: 288 million km², Water surface area: 210 million km², Land surface area: 78 million km².
Native Lifeforms
Soldier-Morrow System
Morrow, the [[mainworld, has extensive, abundant native life, with complex organisms inhabiting every ecological niche. Their metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.
The cold marginally hospitable world lying in orbital position (XX) (within the H+ region of the outer system) has primitive cryophile native life, consisting entirely of microscopic cyanobacteria-parallels that thrive in the harsh conditions. Their metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.
No other world in the system is known to have native life.
