The Mont-SC class Scout is a TL–12 light recon Scout.

Description (Specifications)

Monterian Scouts

These Jump-3 vessels patrol and escort convoys from neighboring worlds and act as fleet couriers for orders issued to task forces. They carry a model/4 fib computer on the bridge. They have 3-Gs acceleration and no agility. The pilot and gunner have separate staterooms for comfort on long patrols, which also makes passengers possible. There is a small 3 ton cargo bay. The hull is streamlined for ocean refueling with scoops and a fuel refinery. They are armed with a single pulse laser for defense.
