Misaruu is either a vacuum world or one with a tainted atmosphere. The system supports a population in between 10 million and one billion sophonts. The world has been set aside to preserve indigenous life forms, to delay resource development, or for other reasons. This world is a satellite of a gas giant or another planet in the system. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Arnakhish Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Misaruu, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight and the fiefdom of a marquis. Both are members of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world. This is the homeworld of the Feime, a Minor Race. They are ?0% of the world's population. During the Long Night this world was named Segid.
Astrography and planetology
Misaruu is the satellite of a large gas giant that orbits close to the primary star. It is maintained an an Imperial Reserve. It has extensive native life and has spawned a semi-intelligent species the Feime. The IISS maintains a number of ships around the world to enforce a no-landing policy.

Point of Interest: Misaruu Starport
No facilities for surface landings are provided; the entire human population live aboard an orbital habitat that also serves as the starport. The habitat, a three kilometer long cylinder called Lookdown.
History and background
The orbital habitat was originally constructed by the Imperial Navy in the 300s to accommodate cruiser squadrons. The vast hangers have been divided into separate floors and now serve as housing. Local manufacturing ability is fairly limited, and excellent prices are paid for high tech machinery and spares. The original facilities are in a poor state of repair and have been continually downgraded through the years.
