The Lesser Rift is a broad expanse of space with a very low density of stars (void) trailing the main region of the Third Imperium.
Description (Specifications)
This rift is a pronounced impediment to interstellar travel, for it constrains jumps through several sectors including the Empty Quarter Sector.
- The Lesser Rift is lesser only when compared to the larger, more prominent Great Rift spinward of the Imperium.
Gn'hk'r Jump Bridge
A jump-4 route, the J-4 Gn'hk'r Jump Bridge exists across a narrow part of the lesser rift which connects the Two Thousand Worlds with some colonies on the other side.
