System Data

Urshin-Lerant System

The primary is Urshin, an ordinary orange main sequence star. It has a luminosity of 0.352 Sols, a mass of 0.774 Sols, and a diameter of 1.168 million km. The inner system consists of (I) a vacuum worldlet, and (II) a corrosive atmosphere inferno world. (III) Lerant orbits within the habitable zone and is designated the mainworld. (IV) a ringed large gas giant, and (V) a small gas giant form the outer system. Many of the worlds retain satellites.

Chush Subsystem

The companion is Chush, a red subdwarf star that orbits Urshin at a mean distance of 45.3 AU (orbital position (X), 6.8 billion km) and has an orbital period of 346 years 204 days. It has a luminosity of 0.011 Sols, a mass of 0.154 Sols, and a diameter of 256,000 km. (I) an exotic atmosphere bigworld, (II) a vacuum iceworld, and (III) a ringed small ice giant form the outer system. Many of the worlds retain satellites.

(III) Lerant is designated the mainworld. It orbits Urshin at a mean distance of 0.59 AU (88.3 million km), within the habitable zone. It has an orbital period of 188 days 4 hours and a rotation period of 18.5 hours. The axial tilt is 19 degrees. Lerant has a diameter of 6,623 km, a density of 5.02 g/cm³, and a surface gravity of 0.47 G. The world is geologically active. Its atmosphere is rated as Thin, with a mean surface pressure of 0.63 bar and a composition of 77% nitrogen (N₂), 22% oxygen (O₂), and 1% argon (Ar), water vapor (H₂O), carbon dioxide (CO₂), neon (Ne) and other trace gases. Approximately 41% of the surface is covered in seas of liquid water: average tidal ranges exceed 0.2m. Mean surface temperature: 33°C. The atmosphere is active and strong weather systems driven by the star and the seas drive across the globe. The climate is seasonal.

Lerant retains a single natural satellite, a tiny vacuum worldlet named Menter:
