Description (Astrography & Planetology)

This world currently has a thin and tained atmosphere; archaeological evidence seems to indicate it was originally very dense in ancient times, conducive to the proliferation of winged species, but then was eroded over the eons.

History & Background (Dossier)

Non-canon theories: According to some Imperial historians, Lashkagur may have been the original homeworld of the Guy-Troy sophonts; they are now found scattered across the central Imperial regions from Delphi and Fornast to Dagudashaag, Core, and Vland sectors. Theoretically, the ancient atmosphere of Lashkagur was more dense and conducive to the proliferation of winged species, but then was stripped away over the eons and is now thin and tainted, no longer resembling the prehistoric conditions which would have been favorable to the Guy-Troy.

Eager to reclaim the opportunity for long-range mercantile endeavour that they'd lost after the Consolidation Wars, the Bhunj embraced Solomani freedoms of the Rule of Man. They established a series of outposts to support expeditions to major worlds including Lashkagur, which was serviced by the trade outpost at neighbouring Fforte.

Imperial High (Landed) Nobility

Lashkagur, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estates of three members of the Imperial Nobility, who are charged with overseeing the world.
