The Larra subsector is a primary agricultural region, with six agricultural worlds within its bounds. Much of the agriproduct surplus is shipped along the Slyean Main to markets in the Core Sector. The region is fairly densely populated, with four high population worlds. The Kadushi cluster, in the rimward half of the of the subsector, is an interesting example of economic cooperation. Kakar, Kadushi, and Shardi have pooled their resources to form a government sponsored shipping company, Cluster Cargo Carriers, LIC. Clusters specializes in transporting bulk freight, and is now considered to be serious competition for Tukera Lines in the area.
The Uumirsa Belt is the headquarters of the Miradyne-Shumaar Shipyards, one of the best known producers of asteroid-hulled spacecraft in the Imperial Core.
The Laraa Subsector contains 37 worlds with a population of 78.7 billion. The highest population is 60 billion, at Shardi (Dagudashaag 3226). The highest tech level is F at Kakar, Uumirsa, Newport and Saven.
