History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

All research and prototypes (and also Dr Langstrom herself) were lost with the arrival of the Voyagers in 3730AD. In more than a millennia nobody has been able to replicate her work, and the Langstrom drive is now generally dismissed as scientific wishful thinking.
