Kredl are large, hexapodal livestock animals, bearing a superficial resemblance to the Solomani Terran cow, originating from Zhodane (Zhodane 2719) and are commonly kept as livestock through Zhodani space and exported elsewhere.

Physiology and ecology

The Kredl evolved on Zhdant as herbivore/grazers until the primitive Zhodani took notice of the Noql and began to domesticate them around -40,000, which culminated in a fully domesticable breed by around -30,000.

Kredl thrive in plain-like environments with widespread layers of grassy plant life. Modern Zhodani herd them in a very similar fashion to Solomani-Terran cattle.

Kredl eat a variety of grains and other plant matter.

History and background

Kredl are highly valued for their highly nutritious milk, and for their delicious meat. Kredl are widely exported through Zhodani space and are growing in popularity as a foodstuff commodity in Vargr and Imperial space.
