History & Background (Dossier)

Kinunir is a poor, non-agricultural Imperial world located in Dingir Subsector of the Solamani Rim.

Kinunir was the site of a turning point in the Fifth Interstellar War. In -2339 the Terrans, emboldened by early success, drove deeper into Dingir and reached Kinunir. Their defeat at the Battle of Kinunir marked the high water mark of the Terran advance.

Imperial High (Landed) Nobility

Kinunir, as a member world of the Third Imperium has a member of the Imperial Nobility overseeing the world.

World Starport

Kinunir has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
