Brude-Karina System
The primary is Brude, an ordinary orange main sequence star. It has a luminosity of 0.216 Sols, a mass of 0.672 Sols, and a diameter of 978,000 km. (I) Karina orbits within the habitable zone and is designated the mainworld. (II) a Very thin atmosphere hospitable world, (III) an exotic atmosphere radworld, (IV) a large gas giant, (V) a dense rocky planetoid belt, (VI) a ringed large gas giant, (VII) a small gas giant form the outer system. Many of the worlds retain satellites.

(I) Karina
(I) Karina is designated the mainworld. It orbits Brude at a mean distance of 0.14 AU (20.9 million km), within the habitable zone. It has an orbital period of 23 days 8 hours: it is tidally locked to Brude. The axial tilt is 1 degree. Karina has a diameter of 8,527 km, a density of 5.03 g/cm³, and a surface gravity of 0.61 G. Tidal stresses generated by the gravitational pull of Brude cause regular geological activity. Its atmosphere is rated as Standard, Tainted, with a mean surface pressure of 1.07 bar and a composition of 84% nitrogen (N2), 15% oxygen (O2), and 1% argon (Ar), water vapor (H2O), carbon dioxide (CO2), neon (Ne) and other trace gases. The taint is caused by the low percentage of atmospheric oxygen. 100% of the surface is covered in an ocean of liquid water: average tidal ranges exceed 1.4m. Mean surface temperature: 9°C. The climate is rated as Temperate-Cool and is static, with no seasonal changes during the local year. The atmosphere is dynamic and violent weather systems driven by the star and the oceans scour the globe.

Brude-Karina System
Karina, the mainworld, has extensive, abundant native life, with complex organisms inhabiting every ecological niche. Their metabolic functions drive the process of atmospheric renewal.
The cold marginally hospitable world lying in orbital position (II) (within the H+ region of the outer system) has primitive native life, consisting entirely of microscopic cryophile cyanobacteria-parallels that exist in any location where they can find even a minimal trace of shelter and warmth. Their metabolic functions maintain the process of atmospheric renewal.
No other world in the system is known to have native life.
