The Juro class Wheeled Utility Vehicle is a TL-5 Armored Fighting Vehicle.

Description (Specifications)

The Juro class Wheeled Utility Vehicle, TL-5: The vehicle has a few mm of soft steel armor. Designers wanted to ensure good cross country mobility so a massive set of four huge tires were installed, rated to support up to 27.6 tons of vehicle. The vehicle will never get stuck under any cross country conditions. Unfortunately the ICE power plant lacks the power to produce decent speed. As a result this vehicle is actually slower than some of its contemporaries. The vehicle is not sealed for amphibious operations, amphibious variants would be possible owing to its light weight. A single medium machine gun, mounted in a cupolas on the chassis deck is the only integral weaponry.

History & Background (Dossier)

The Juro class Wheeled Utility Vehicle was designed and manufactured at TL–5, these vehicles are manufactured for the Tenjada Moralitate in Mavuzog and Theta Borealis Sectors. The TL–5 light infantry battalions use these vehicles as scouts, prime movers for light artillery pieces and mortars. They are frequently fitted with trailers. The can carry one metric ton of supplies which gives them versatility. They are slow and under powered. Extra cans of fuel are often carried to increase their modest endurance and operational range. They arrive fully fueled. They have no real offensive or defensive punch. And are no match for more modern vehicles. Within their territory they are used for low intensity security missions and garrisons. These units are skilled in peace keeping, riot control, counter insurgency, and asymmetrical warfare in urban centers.
