Starships are designed with the Classic Traveller format, using High Guard. |
The Iyeliy class Messenger is an Aslan communications starship.
- It is a paramilitary ship and a Messenger Ship.
Description (Specifications)
The Iyeliy class is the Aslan equivalent of the x-boat. The larger clans have a network of these vessels and some Aslan news corporations have their own fleets to relay information across the Hierate. The Aslan network is much less extensive than the Imperial x-boat system but the Iyeliy is capable of five-parsec jumps and so moves faster. A normal crew consists of a pilot, gunner, and an engineer/purser.
They typically carry Mail Drums.
