History & Background (Dossier)

  • Iroioah is a dying world. Some ancient calamity stripped away more than two-thirds of its atmosphere, and now the planet’s seas are dry and its continents are graveyards. The howling winds carry blue sandstorms across the copper sulphide-tinged deserts.
  • Iroioah was once home to an advanced spacefaring civilisation that flourished in the interval between the last war of the Ancients and the rise of the Vilani. Some of their ruins still survive.

World Starport (St)

Iroioah has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
