Their homeworld of Ishirdu (Corridor 0338 E776301-5) has a radioactive taint to the atmosphere that is thought to have provided the evolutionary push to develop the Irdu psionics.
History & Background (Dossier)
Their psionic skills shocked the Scouts of the Rydel Expeditions, and the Navy interdicted the world, despite the non-aggressive character of the Irdu.
