Physiology & Environment: Their homeworld of Ishirdu (Corridor 0338 E776301-5) has a radioactive taint to the atmosphere that is thought to have provided the evolutionary push to develop the Irdu psionics.

Their psionic skills shocked the Scouts of the Rydel Expeditions, and the Navy interdicted the world, despite the non-aggressive character of the Irdu.
