Iilenkhis has an unbreathably thin atmosphere and very little surface water. The system supports a population of fewer than 10,000 sophonts. This world is designated an Amber Zone with an environment, laws, customs, life forms, or other conditions make it dangerous to visitors. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Remnants Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Iilenkhis, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight, a member of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world. During the Long Night this world was named Pean.

Iilenkhis is a member of the Dagudashaag Main.

The world has become an important communication center, serving as the junction between Remnants, Pact, Argi, and Sapphyre.

History and background

Marginally habitable, Iilenkhis has only a small permanent population, all based at the starport.

There is a small nomadic group, an extended family, opposed to the continued development of the world. They have committed minor acts of terrorism to express their feeling and commitment. As yet, no-one has been harmed but the local IISS office has posted an Amber Zone to warn visitors.
