The Holdemar class Destroyer is a warship.

Description (Specifications)

The Holdemar class Destroyer is a fleet escort class deployed by the Tenjada Moralitate Tenjada Naval Forces (TNF). Examples of the class can be encountered throughout the coreward parts of Mavuzog Sectors. The vessel has a partially streamlined, close structure hull. It is fitted with fuel scoops and a fuel purification plant allowing it to perform wilderness refueling.

Basic Ship Characteristics

Following the Imperial Navy and IISS Universal Ship Profile and data, additional information is presented in the format shown here. The small craft factor indicates the number of squadrons (of ten craft) carried on the ship. Tonnage on the universal ship profile is shown in kilotons (thousands of tons) where necessary. [1]

Basic Ship Characteristics [2]
No. Category Remarks
1. Tonnage The Holdemar class Destroyer is constructed using a 5,000 Ton hull built in a close structure configuration. The hull is partially streamlined allowing gas giant refueling, that is further enhanced by its onboard gravitic systems.
  • The vessel has ten airlocks. The cargo hold is accessed by a large lateral doors that also serves to anchor docking clamps for service vehicles.
2. Crew 76 personnel.
  • x11 command, x20 engineering, x18 gunnery, x5 flight, x10 services, and 12 holy marines.

Accommodations

  • There are 41 Staterooms.
    • All Staterooms are given over to the crew. All crew quarters are double occupancy.
  • There are no Low Berths.

Accessible areas of the hull are fitted with grav plates and inertial compensators and have full life support and environmental systems.

  • There are internal monitoring and security systems throughout the vessel. Individual sections of the hull can be sealed off.
  • There are multiple emergency lockers.
3. Performance The vessel mounts a Jump-3 drive, a Maneuver-6 drive, and an upgraded fusion Power Plant-6, giving performance of Jump-3 and 6-G acceleration. The ship has an agility rating of 3 and an emergency agility of 6. The internal fuel tankage is sufficient for a single Jump-3 and gives the power plant 4 weeks duration. It is fitted with drop tanks, should extended range operations be required.
  • The engineering section has a main control room.
  • The jump drive utilizes a lanthanum hull grid.
  • The jump drive is fitted with a jump governor.
4. Electronics Adjacent to the bridge is a Model/6 fib computer.
  • There are multiple workstations and control points throughout the vessel.
  • The vessel is fitted with communications equipment, a basic sensor array, and has an avionics suite. They have system range laser, microwave and radio communication arrays.
  • It has an automatic holy transponder unit that interrogates other systems within range at all times, exchanging scriptural passages to authenticate and update all systems with the latest patch levels.
5. Hardpoints x50 hardpoints.
  • The listed weapons systems are typical for the class.
6. Armament Holdemar class Destroyer are fitted with weapon systems for naval service.
  • There are ten triple beam laser turrets firing as a single factor 8 battery
  • There are five dual fusion gun turrets firing as a single factor 6 battery
  • There is a factor 8 x 100 ton particle accelerator bay
  • There is a factor 9 x 100ton missile bay
7. Defenses The factor 2 armored hull, .
  • The vessel is fitted with factor 1 nuclear dampers and factor 1 meson screen
  • There is a factor 6 repulsor bay
  • There are five triple sand caster turrets firing as a single factor 7 battery
8. Craft The vessel carries two 55 dton Utility Boat subcraft for interface, passenger and cargo transfer duties.
9. Fuel Treatment The vessel has internal fuel tankage of 1,800 Tons. They are delivered with a new set of optional jump 3 drop tanks, which can be fitted as needed.
  • The hull is fitted with fuel scoops.
  • The vessel is equipped with a fuel purification plant that can refine all onboard fuel in 8 hours: the plant is operated and maintained by the engineering crew.
10. Cost The basic cost of the vessel is MCr4,762.334 (base)
Mcr3,809.867 (qty)
  • Architects Fee: MCr47.623
11. Construction Time 144 weeks as standard, 116 weeks in bulk.
  • Build times can be reduced by mass production and the efficiencies such processes generate, by increased financing, and by allotting additional yard resources and facilities to the construction contract.
12. Comments Standard cargo capacity amounts to 10 Tons.
  • The cargo hold can be sealed and has independent life support and environmental systems.
  • Sections of the hold may be isolated if desired and can be provided with specialized environmental conditions, typically refrigeration.

History & Background (Dossier)

The Holdemar class Destroyer class is used by the Tenjada Moralitate's Tenjada Naval Forces (TNF). There ten of these destroyers in each of the three squadrons.
