Description (Specifications)

The Holdemar class Destroyer is a militarized version of the Refugee Pilgrim class Transport class Transport is used by the Tenjada Moralitate Holy Merchant Marine, which comprises the spacefaring commercial interests of Tenjada Moralitate-registered ships and their crews. Examples of the class can be encountered throughout the coreward parts of Mavuzog Sectors. The vessel has a partially streamlined, close structure hull. It is fitted with fuel scoops and a fuel purification plant allowing it to perform wilderness refueling.

1.	Tonnage	The Holdemar class Destroyer is a modified Refugee Pilgrim class Transport constructed using a 10,000 Ton hull built in a close structure configuration. The hull is partially streamlined allowing gas giant refueling, that is further enhanced by its onboard gravitic systems. The vessel has ten airlocks. The cargo hold is accessed by a large lateral doors that also serves to anchor docking clamps for service vehicles.
2.	Crew	587 personnel. x11 command, x24 engineering, x26 gunnery, x15 flight, x20 services, and 491 holy marines. Accommodations There are 296.5 Staterooms. All Staterooms are given over to the crew. All crew quarters are double occupancy. There are 294 Low Berths for a complete low watch or for additional troops. They are tended by the ship's doctor and their medical staff. Accessible areas of the hull are fitted with grav plates and inertial compensators and have full life support and environmental systems. There are internal monitoring and security systems throughout the vessel. Individual sections of the hull can be sealed off. There are multiple emergency lockers.
3.	Performance	The vessel mounts a Jump-3 drive, a Maneuver-3 drive, and an upgraded fusion Power Plant-4, giving performance of Jump-3 and 3-G acceleration. The ship has an agility rating of 2 and an emergency agility of 2. The internal fuel tankage is sufficient for a single Jump-3 and gives the power plant 4 weeks duration. It is fitted with drop tanks, should extended range operations be required. The engineering section has a main control room. The jump drive utilizes a lanthanum hull grid. The jump drive is fitted with a jump governor.
4.	Electronics	Adjacent to the bridge are a pair of Model/6 fib computers: one is used as a backup computer in the event of battle damage. There are multiple workstations and control points throughout the vessel. The vessel is fitted with communications equipment, a basic sensor array, and has an avionics suite. They have system range laser, microwave and radio communication arrays. It has an automatic holy transponder unit that interrogates other systems within range at all times, exchanging scriptural passages to authenticate and update all systems with the latest patch levels.

7.	Defenses	The factor 3 armored hull, . The vessel is fitted with factor 1 nuclear dampers and factor 1 meson screens screens, the redundant set serves as a back up in the event of battle damage. 8.	Craft	The vessel carries five 55 dton Utility Boat subcraft for interface, passenger and cargo transfer duties. They carry a company of ten 5 dton Grav APCs for the holy marines.
9.	Fuel Treatment	The vessel has internal fuel tankage of 3,300 Tons. They are delivered with a new set of optional jump 3 drop tanks, which can be fitted as needed. The hull is fitted with fuel scoops. The vessel is equipped with a fuel purification plant that can refine all onboard fuel in 8 hours: the plant is operated and maintained by the engineering crew.

11.	Construction Time	160 weeks as standard, 128 weeks in bulk. Build times can be reduced by mass production and the efficiencies such processes generate, by increased financing, and by allotting additional yard resources and facilities to the construction contract.
12.	Comments	Standard cargo capacity amounts to 50 Tons. The cargo hold can be sealed and has independent life support and environmental systems. Sections of the hold may be isolated if desired and can be provided with specialized environmental conditions, typically refrigeration.

History & Background (Dossier)

The Holdemar class Destroyer class is used by the Tenjada Moralitate's Tenjada Naval Forces (TNF). There ten of these converted transports in each of the three squadrons. The military versions are almost impossible to differentiate from the civilian ones. This puts civilian vessels at risk in combat zones and allows the military versions to serve as Q-ships. The basic and reliable vessel has sacrificed its spacious hold, for a larger power plant. Vast missile bays are fitted to the cargo holds. And marines are berthed in every available compartment from bulkhead to bulkhead. They deliver a reinforced marine battalion to the battlefield and are equipped with 50 capsule launchers, and store 419 assault capsules. The company of Grav APCs are used to establish secure beach heads, and landing zones.
