Hkesuh is hot and almost entirely dry, with 99% of the planet’s water either underground in vast aquifers or locked in the colonies of Hkesuhoates, single-cell organisms that make up the entirety of the planet’s native biosphere.

• The world is ruled by the Taukhaotuar Clan, who have adapted well to their adopted desert homeworld.
• They are nomadic, traversing the desert on motorized caravans and sailing on sandships.
