Herome is an icy, low-population vacuum world, with a population less than 10,000 sophonts in population size, warranting hazardous environment precautions.
- Its surface is ice-capped with little or no atmosphere and nearly all of its water frozen.
- It is a Non-Aligned world dominated by human sophonts located in the Orowan Subsector of Halcyon Sector.

Jott-Herome System
The primary is Jott, a dim red main sequence star. It has a luminosity of 0.004 Sols, a mass of 0.273 Sols, and a diameter of 414,000 km. (I) a vacuum worldlet, (II) a very thin atmosphere radworld, (III) Dogon, a small gas giant: (IIIa) Herome is its only major moon and is designated the mainworld, and (IV) a vacuum worldlet form the outer system. Only the gas giant retains a satellite.
Asa Subsystem
The companion is Asa, a magenta-coloured L-type brown dwarf lying approximately 21.5 AU (orbital position (IX), 3.21 billion km) from Jott and with an orbital period of 190 years 292 days. It is not luminous, it has a mass of 0.063 Sols and a diameter of 60,000 km. Asa retains no planetary bodies.
(III) Dogon
(III) Dogon is a small gas giant that orbits Jott at a mean distance of 0.65 AU (97.2 million km) and has an orbital period of 1 year 1 day. It has a diameter of 24,000 km and is a bland pale blue colour. It retains a single major satellite, (IIIa) Herome, designated the mainworld.

(IIIa) Herome
(IIIa) Herome is the only major moon of (III) Dogon and is designated the mainworld. It orbits its parent world at a mean distance of 14 diameters (336,000 km), with an orbital period of 35 days 5 hours: it is tidally locked to Dogon. It has an axial tilt of 6 degrees. Herome has a diameter of 3,456 km, a density of 4.18 g/cm³ and a surface gravity of 0.21 G. Tidal stresses caused by the gravitational pull of Dogon cause frequent geological activity. Its atmosphere is rated as Vacuum. Around 9% of the surface is covered in sheets of water ice. Mean surface temperature: -131°C.
