The true unsung heroes of the Geonee 'navy' are these system defense buffered asteroid monitors. They ceaselessly patrol the numerous asteroid belts that typify the Geonee systems. They blend in, hiding and drifting among the belts waiting for trouble. Nothing short of capital ship weaponry can pierce their hulls and the massive 100ton missile bay can ruin the day of most combatants. Once the trap is sprung however, their lack of mobility can be a liability as escape is unlikely, unless they jump. Refueling with a gig from a gas giant is a laborious and time consuming task. They feature a rare and exotic Geonee marine squad. Ten squat berserkers arrayed in TL–13 chameleon, psionically shielded Battle Dress, with grav belts, PGMP-13's, and individual tactical missiles jump in with assault capsules. An advanced 2 ton drone grav APC is flown in remotely for point defense fire support linked to the squad leader's secure comms channel. The squad has a pair of grav mobile armored land mates with heavy squad support weapons. Medical evac is provided by the Gig which is also tasked with over-watch artillery fire support.
