Galores is a non-agricultural, pre-industrial world with few economic prospects.
- It is unable to produce quality foodstuffs and must import them.
- It is a member of the Trooles Confederation in the Festab Subsector of Theta Borealis Sector.
- This world is controlled from Isbelra, the capital of the Trooles Confederation.
Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]
Galores is a binary star system.
- The primary is a yellow main sequence.
- The secondary is an orange main sequence.

System Data[edit]
The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:
- The mainworld.
- x8 secondary rocky worlds.
- x2 planetoid belts.
- x2 gas giants.
Mainworld Data[edit]
No information yet available.
Mainworld Size (S)[edit]
Galores is a Small World between 4,000km and 5,600km in diameter. The world has low gravity between 0.24G and 0.34G. The horizon will appear about 3km away.
- The world is rich in minerals.
Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]
Galores has a pressure of less than 0.1 atmospheres which requires the use of a Vacc Suit. TL–8 or more advanced survival gear is required to settle this world.
Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]
Galores has no free-standing water or ice on the surface. Wilderness refueling isn't possible on this world. Water for the inhabitants needs to be imported and extensively recycled. These worlds are classified Desert World or a Hell World depending on their atmosphere.
Satellites:[edit]

Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]

Native Lifeforms[edit]
No native life.
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
Galores is being developed with the intent of creating an industrial powerhouse within the Confederation.
- Its extracted resources currently form the major part of bulk cargos moving to trailing, along the Oujda Trade.
- This trade is vital in paying for the Trooles Confederation Navy.
- As industrial infrastructure continues to grow on the world, more of its resources are being channeled inward, to meet domestic requirements.
World Starport (St)[edit]
Galores has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
Facilities[edit]
Port facilities within the system include:
- No information yet available.
World Technology Level (T)[edit]
Galores possesses a Technology Level of TL–8.
- Common Communication technologies for this TL include: Fiber optics, improved telephones, and satellite communication and data networks.
- Common Power Generation technologies for this TL include: Improved geothermal and improved batteries.
- Common Transportation technologies for this TL include:
- Land: Advanced automobiles.
- Water: Triphibians and early artificial gills.
- Air: Improved helicopters and hypersonic jets.
- Space: Space shuttles, early space stations, and improved interplanetary spacecraft (System Craft).
World Government (G)[edit]
Galores has a Captive Government or Colony. The world is ruled by an external government, there is no self-rule. A colony or conquered area. The local government is an oligarchy appointed by, and answerable only to, the external government.
- This world is controlled from Isbelra, the capital of the Confederation.
- Galores is considered such an important asset that it is administered directly by the interstellar state's government.
World Military[edit]
The world is garrisoned and policed by Trooles Confederation troops.
- Local militias complement the Confederation units.
World Law (L)[edit]
Galores has a high law level with laws covering many areas of interactions of people, corporations, and the government. A few worlds with this law level may be Amber Zones. Any interaction with the judicial system requires an Advocate trained in the local legal system. Law enforcement is present almost everywhere, either as people or via technology. Legal proceedings can take weeks to months to resolve and involve a dozen or more people. All objects specifically manufactured as weapons are typically regulated or prohibited (outside private residences or visiting starships).
World Economy[edit]
- Resources: D (very abundant)
- Labor: 6 (millions)
- Infrastructure: 8 (generally available)
- Efficiency: +1 (average)
Trade Data[edit]
- Importance: 0 (unimportant)
The world is a major supplier of bulk raw materials to the Oujda Trade.
- These are carried to trailing, to the resource-hungry industrial world of Oujda.
- Galores is a primary source of income for the Trooles Confederation.
World Demographics (P)[edit]
Galores has a population of 80,000,000
- The Confederation actively promotes Galores as a place that is ideal to settle.
- It offers lump sum payments and extensive social benefits to settlers.
- It provides gratis (one way) High Passage Tickets, along with a 5 dTon freight allowance, to individuals and families resettling on the world.
- Non-Troolean citizens are welcomed: settlers are actively sought from beyond the Confederation's borders.
Urbanization[edit]
Many millions of residential units - entire pressure-sealed towns complete with amenities, gardens, and infrastructure - have been constructed and stand empty, waiting for habitation.
- There is adequate accommodation and support for more than 1 billion inhabitants.
- Communities are located close to concentrations of resources.
- Employment is readily available.
World Culture[edit]
- Homogeneity: 8 (discordant)
- Acceptance: 7 (aloof)
- Strangeness: 6 (very distinct)
- Symbols: 9 (somewhat abstract)
