While the [[Vargr Extents]] and the [[Zhodani Consulate]] have made informal claims to this sector by naming it, neither polity is actually present.  Until [[1104]], [[Charted Space]] incorrectly believed this sector to be uninhabited.

This sector is home to the minor human race, the [[Pirians]].  Aside from [[Piriga (world)|Piriga]], the sector was barren until shortly after the Pirians were given jump drive by the [[Yaskoydri Technocracy]] in [[-2001]].  Since then they have spread through the sector, aided by immigrants from all four sides.

Gakghang Sector, also known as Ianshaplzdier Sector, is coreward of the spinward end of the Vargr Extents.

Meta-History & Background

Gakghang Sector is an underdeveloped sector.

  1. In 1985, Zhodani (Alien Module) was published.
  2. In 1990, Alien - Vilani & Vargr was published.

Description (Specifications)

While the Vargr Extents and the Zhodani Consulate have made informal claims to this sector by naming it, neither polity is actually present. Until 1104, Charted Space incorrectly believed this sector to be uninhabited.

This sector is home to the minor human race, the Pirians. Aside from Piriga, the sector was barren until shortly after the Pirians were given jump drive by the Yaskoydri Technocracy in -2001. Since then they have spread through the sector, aided by immigrants from all four sides.
