Description / Specifications

The Sports Bike is a very small one person vehicle designed for the civilian market.

Hull / Suspension

An open frame constructed from steel, containing the exposed mechanical components.

  • Length: 2.1m, Width: 0.8m, Height: 0.8m.
  • Overall Volume: 1.4m³ (0.1 dTons).
  • Unloaded Weight: 170 kg.

The overall volume measures the vehicles maximum dimensions and includes road clearance. The enclosed volume of the frame hull is substantially lower.

The vehicle is fitted with a wheeled suspension system that fits into the frame hull.

  • The vehicle performs excellently on metalled surfaces but has a poor off-road capability.

Power / Transmission

A small highly tuned internal combustion power plant using hydrocarbon fuel. The fuel is contained within a small protected tank.

Performance

  • Cruise Speed: 160 kph, Top Speed: 230 kph. Off-road Speed: less than 25 kph.
  • Range: 250 km at cruise, 170 km at top speed.

Passengers / Cargo

The crew facilities consist of a single lateral seat mounted on the top of the frame: a passenger may sit directly behind the driver. The driver's position is fitted with basic mechanical controls. A console provides data such as engine temperature and velocity.

There is no internal storage but up to 0.3m³ of cargo may be stowed externally, typically in panniers and slung bags.

  • Cargo Storage: none.
  • Maximum load: 140 kg (including passenger) before performance is impaired.

Equipment

Headlights and running lights.

History / Background

A sophisticated, precision engineered two-wheeled vehicle available in a variety of body styles and colors.
