The Goods Van is a type of Ground Car.
Description / Specifications
The Goods Van is a small cargo vehicle designed for the civilian market and small commercial organisations.
Hull / Suspension
A generally box-shaped steel/plastic hull. Length: 6.5m, Width: 2.0m, Height: 3.2m. Unloaded Weight: 2100 kg.
- Overall volume: approximately 42m³ (3 dTons).
- Note that the overall volume measures the vehicles maximum dimensions and includes road clearance. The enclosed volume of the contoured hull is substantially lower.
The vehicle is fitted with wheeled suspension mounted on axles.
- The vehicle performs well on metalled surfaces but has almost no off-road capability.
Power / Transmission
A small internal combustion power plant using hydrocarbon fuel. The fuel is contained within a small protected tank.
Performance
- Cruise Speed 75 kph, Top Speed 110 kph. Off-road speed less than 20 kph.
- Range 800 km at cruise, 600 km at top speed.
Cargo
An enclosed cargo hold with a volume of 49m³ (3.5 dTons). Maximum load: 35,000 kg. Basic environment (the hull is weatherproof but it is not sealed). The hold is accessed by sliding side doors.

Headlights and running lights. Small (typically 50 km range) radio receiver.
